Last week...

I did so much better last week than I thought I would! Dave told me he was proud of me. I know it's because so many of you were thinking about us and praying for us. It really helped us get through the week. Thank you so much! We have been so supported by friends, family, and ward members. You are all truly appreciated! We were surprised to get flowers and an Edible Arrangement delivered on Saturday. Thank you again for all you have done for us!




We were really hoping to have Heidi's headstone on by her due date and knew we were cutting it close. I called the cemetery on Friday to see how much longer before they thought it would be done, and it turned out it was put in that day! We were so glad that it was done just in time. It's very simple, what do you think?


If you remember when Dave and I started dating, we had so many weird connections all throughout our life, that we were destined to meet sometime. One that we are grateful for now is that my Grandpa Melville and his Grandma Cates are buried so close together. That is where Heidi is now, so we're grateful that she is close to both sides of our family. This is her close to my grandpa:
