Sorry if I lied to you....

So, if I've talked to you in the last 2 months and you asked me if I was pregnant yet, and my response was no, then sorry, I lied to you! Dave and I are really excited about being pregnant. I am 12 weeks along, and haven't really had any problems or been sick. I just have been waking up in the middle of the night every night, because I have to pee or my blood sugar is low, then can't go back to sleep. This has made me a little cranky at school, but I do need to be meaner with my class this year than last year!
We went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and got an ultrasound. Our little baby was moving all over the place and was waving one of their arms at us! My due date is June 5, and the last day of school is June 4, so we'll see if I make it! Dave is hoping for a boy, and I'm hoping for a girl, so we'll see who wins!

Halloween Fun!

Despite Dave being gone so much, we were able to do some fun things this month. We carved pumpkins with Emily and Alejandro one night. It was a little bit too early, because now they're all moldy! This was them when they still looked good. Dave's is a NY Yankee logo, and mine is Mr. Meowkins. I had a pattern for Mr. Meowkins last year, and it was the only cute pumpkin I had ever carved, so I wanted to do it again. I found a picture of him on the internet, and free-handed him. He turned out pretty cute, but not as cute as last year! Emily's was a nerdy Harry Potter one, and Alejandro's had sticking up ears! It was his first time carving a pumpkin!
We also carved pumpkins with the Carters and the Bells. I guess we have a tradition now of watching Fear Fest on TV with them! We have done it the past 2 years. It's fun though, and I'm glad I'm still such good friends with my freshman roommates! I don't have any pictures from that night, and Amanda and Cameo haven't put them on their blogs yet!
We also were able to go down to Provo with Cameo and Jeremy and see Thriller! It was fun to see it with them. We ate dinner at Guru's, which I crave all the time, and then went to the show. Dave of course was able to get the freaky girls who are wandering to follow me around and scare me!

Lonely October!

I'm glad this month is almost over. Dave has been gone more than he has been home! He's been traveling a lot for work. He doesn't usually have to travel that much, but for some reason, he did a ton this month! He went to Columbus for a week, then was home for a week, then went to Cincinnati for 8 days (which was fun for him, since he served his mission there), then home for 3 days, now he's currently in Atlanta. He was supposed to come home today, but he ended up having to stay for an extra day! I'll be glad once he's home. Hopefully he'll stick around a while!
He puts in a ton of hours when he's gone, and this is an example of what he wants to do once he's home!
He was sweet one day and sent me flowers at work. They were mailed in a box to my school and the secretary brought them down and put a big box on my desk. I was trying to teach math, but I had to go see what it was! It turned out to be 2 dozen roses. (I found out later from Dave, they were an internet special-buy one dozen, get one free!) It was thoughtful of him and I loved it, and so did my class! I miss you honey!

She's my Snuggie Slave!!!

video

If she wont post, I will!!!!

Laura wont post the picture of her wearing the Snuggie. So being the good husband that I am, here it is.

Laura's 25th birthday

For my birthday on Saturday, Dave took me to the zoo because I've been dying to see the baby animals. They had so many there-an elephant, giraffe, snow leopard, tiger, orangutan, alligator, and meerkats. They were all so cute! Here are some pictures:
Dave got me a straightener, a shoe rack and a Snuggie! This is a picture of him pretending to be the Snuggie Monster and chasing me around the house! Thanks for a good birthday Dave (except for the chasing me around--it was pretty terrifying, as you can all see from the picture!)
