Girls Trip to St. George

My sister Emily and I drove down to St. George last week and met Rebe, who lives in California, there.  On our way down, we stopped in Fillmore to eat some lunch and let the kids play at a playground for a few minutes.  I started packing up the car and closed the back driver side door and the window just completely shattered!  I was so glad Brady wasn't in his carseat, because he would had glass all over him.  We had no idea what to do, so this nice husband and a gas station worker found us a car shop to put plastic up so we could make it the rest of the way.  So, we made it to St. George quite a bit later than we planned on, but we were glad it wasn't any worse.  We were able to get the glass replaced pretty easily in St. George.

We had a great time together, and so did the babies.  They interacted more with each other than they ever have.  Here are some of the fun things we did:

Brady's favorite thing was jumping on the bed!
 Played at the Sand Dunes:

Brady shoveled the sand into his mouth as fast as he could.  Great.
Ate breakfast at the Bear Paw:

Played at the Splash Pad.  I was able to meet up with my friend Megan from college.  It was fun seeing her in person!  (Hopefully she'll see this and send me the picture she took of us.  :) )

We celebrated this sweet girl's 1st Birthday:
We also did a little shopping, swam at the pool, crafted after the kids went to bed, visited our old piano teacher, went to the Santa Clara Swiss Days, and got some Nielsen's Frozen Custard.  We had so much fun spending time together!

Man Brady just goes to town with the sand. He will love that video when he's older.
